Resident Commissioner Statement on the Administrative Order Closing Cases of Illegal Constructions in La Parguera

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Pablo José Hernández Rivera, Resident Commissioner of Puerto Rico, issued the following statement regarding the Administrative Order closing cases of illegal constructions in La Parguera:

“I hope the designated Secretary of Natural Resources and their predecessor provide an honest and compelling explanation for the Administrative Order closing cases of illegal constructions in La Parguera.

“Likewise, I urge the Senate to exercise its advice and consent role with greater attention and care in light of recent events.”
