Congressional Internship Opportunities – Congressman Pablo José Hernández

The office of Congressman Pablo José Hernández is seeking part-time and full-time interns for fall 2026 in both the Washington, D.C. and Caguas District office.

Responsibilities will include answering phones, managing the front office, assisting legislative staff with research, supporting the communications team, assisting with tour and flag requests, and other tasks as assigned. This is a highly competitive process, and we are seeking candidates who work well under pressure, are detail-oriented, proactive in a fast-paced environment, fully bilingual, and comfortable interacting with people. Interns will be eligible for a monthly stipend.

We encourage all qualified candidates to apply while continuing to prioritize residents of Puerto Rico and applicants with strong ties to the island, including members of the Puerto Rican diaspora.
