FY26 Funding Requests

Chairman Cole has confirmed that the House Appropriations Committee will once again accept Community Project Funding (CPF) requests from Members, alongside the usual programmatic and language submissions. For Fiscal Year 2026, each Member can submit CPF requests but there's no guarantee any of them will be approved. The CPF process remains limited—funding for all projects combined can’t exceed 0.5% of total discretionary spending, and only specific accounts are eligible.
Submitting a request through Congressman Pablo José Hernández does not guarantee funding—it’s simply the first step in a competitive process. You can find more information about how the appropriations process works on the House Appropriations Committee’s website.
